Awhile ago I asked you if you read comic books. The majority responded positively. I have to admit that I'm actually a little surprised. I think that in pop culture comics have taken a back seat to more modern offerings like handheld gaming and Facebook (barf). So what is it about comics that makes us read them? I can only answer this question for myself but I'm sure that some of you will identify with me.
In a comic book you can always expect good to prevail over evil. The hero to defeat the villian. To see the very best and the very worst of the human spirit. One of the best things about comics...the bad guys always come back for more. Oh and heroes never die! Captain America didn't die with Steve Rogers. Bruce Wayne's passing wasn't the end of Batman.
That's why I keep coming back to comic books after reading a few novels in a row. What's your reason Fearless Reader?
It's good to be back.
Keep your head up out there- it's a zombie eat brain world!
